The games are available in Limit, Pot-Limit and No-Limit - except for Omaha, which doesn't play as No-Limit. The games are available from micro-limit, with 1¢/2¢ blinds, to high-stakes $100/$200 blind games. PKR is looking into adding both Stud and Draw to the game roster - something that would give PKR very good game variety.
Full-table games, shorthanded and heads-up tables are all available, with games concentrated in No-Limit Hold'em for now and, in particular, at the small and middle limits.

PKR hosts a number of tournaments for their players, offering buy-ins from as little as $1 all the way up to $250. The events are quite well-populated and play is very loose. Play at any level is among the loosest and juiciest there is and even the bigger buy-in tournaments offer relatively crazy play.
PKR also offers some guaranteed tournaments and satellites, with a monthly $10,000 guaranteed tournament among the highlights. PKR also offers smaller guaranteed tournaments that run daily.
PKR Poker runs lots of free tournaments, with freerolls usually well-visited and filled with extremely loose play. The tournaments are often large multi-table events and usually in No-Limit Texas Hold'em, and typically have relatively small prize pools.
There are plenty of them, however, and they do run very often. The freerolls with larger prize pools are usually part of bigger promotions or played as invitational tournaments, but there are also occasional $2,500 freerolls that give players great value.
PKR Poker Software
PKR runs on privately developed software and is not a part of any poker network. The software offers breathtaking graphics and customizability, giving the player an experience that is as close to real casino play as possible.
The software comes, for obvious reasons, as a download client only, and only works on the PC platform. Modem users shouldn't bother downloading it though, since it takes up over 600 MB on the hard drive.
The playing experience is awesome, and all the usual functions are there, except for the annoying fact that pre-flop view percentage is missing from the lobby. The graphics of the PKR 3D software are totally amazing, and most users are blown away the first time they play. Graphics-wise, there is nothing on the market that even comes close to PKR, with amazing customization and superb 3D effects making the software simply the best out there.
The software allows for play at up to four tables simultaneously and offers a great mini-view function where three tables can be viewed together with the main table, all in the same window. In all, the software is power consuming, slow, and space consuming - and just amazing!
